A PDO (Polydioxanone) thread lift is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure designed to lift and tighten sagging skin using biodegradable threads. These threads are inserted beneath the skin using fine needles, where they provide an immediate lifting effect and stimulate collagen production over time. The procedure is commonly used on the face and neck to address issues like jowls, sagging cheeks, and fine lines, offering a more youthful appearance without the need for traditional surgery. Results typically last between 12 to 18 months, and because the threads gradually dissolve, there’s minimal downtime and a lower risk of complications compared to more invasive facelifts.
