Brow/Forehead Lift (Browplasty)

Want to get rid of those frown lines or lines across the forehead, or crow’s feet? Do your eyes feel heavy? Do people say you look tired, even when you’re not?

Sometimes it’s stress, sometimes age. In any of these cases, your face no longer expresses your true inner spirit. When that happens, a Forehead Lift might be just the lift you need!

The physical explanation for what is happening is this: gravity prevails. The muscles that hold the forehead up have sagged and are no longer holding the skin as tautly as before. Another side effect of this can be lowered eyebrow height. When that happens, you might look tired or your eyes may feel heavy.

A Forehead Lift, also known as a Brow Lift or Browplasty, is performed using one of multiple techniques.

Dr. Singer will apply the technique that best achieves the goals you are trying to achieve while minimizing risk. The basic technique is this. Incisions are made behind the hairline. Excess skin is then removed, and the tissue is stretched and attached higher up. When complete, the weight of the forehead is lifted off of the eyes, the lines are removed or reduced, and a youthful appearance is restored.

Dr. Singer has been performing this procedure for many years with excellent results. To perform this procedure well, your doctor will need a solid understanding of muscular structure. Dr. Singer has this, as well as the eye of an artist, allowing her to produce excellent results as her patients will attest.
